I'm looking at a program at North Carolina State University called a "Masters of Physiology". It is specifically designed to improve pre health students raise their gpas. It also requires applicants to both submit an application and take the GRE. I'm obviously applying because I need to raise my stats in order to become competitive and I meet all of their minimum requirements. What are the chances of this type of program rejecting applicants given that their chief concern is to help students become more competitive for health career schools? I'm just worried I'm going to apply to begin this in the fall and they end up not accepting me, I'm basically screwed for the next year. Thanks!

As long as you have at least a 3.0 gpa you should have a reasonable shot!

What is the difference in a non thesis program masters progam vs a post bac? just the degree?

Yes Sir! Also a possible fall back, and a way to separate oneself from other applicants.
