So now that the first year of med school is over for a few of us non-trads, I was wondering what summer plans look like for the slightly older students who may or may not have family.

I'll be working in a research lab finishing up some of my post-doc work. I decided to take a road trip out there to visit several family and friends along the way. It's currently one of the best ideas I've had all year.

I have 2 weeks between summer of ms2 and ms3, and we are chilling out in the mountains and happily blowing our vacation budget. Very very nice to have uninterrupted family time!
