Not going to finish UWorld before dedicated, is this terrible?

So looks like there's no shot I'm going to finish UWorld before dedicated. I might get through about half of it, but I just have too much on my plate to review for my path and pharm NBME finals in early May (aka pathoma, sketchy, first aid) to realistically get through the qbank on top of all my other commitments. is this really going to hurt me come dedicated step time (starts in early May)? Should I just reset it come dedicated and just make sure I get through all of it plus incorrects during that 5 weeks?

I guess I'm mostly just looking for people to tell me I can still do well without finishing the UWorld twice completely lol. I'm well above average in classes the first two years but seems like my classmates are miles ahead in UWorld. I'm a bit worried about it. thanks for all advice everyone

Yes you can do well without doing it twice. I'm not a fan of doing it twice, I think that's inane, sorry guys.

Do it once, like really do it, review every single question, tear through multiple notebooks with notes, and continue reviewing FA, pathoma, Sketchy etc.

thank you for the reply, it's nice to hear just to calm my anxiety a bit haha. I know it's not ideal but I don't really have a choice at this point.

I was going through and making anki cards for concepts and facts I didn't know, which I plan to continue in dedicated. I figure that way if I do the qbank once at least i'm still getting repetition on my weak spots within it. I've done pathoma multiple times throughout the year, sketchy micro multiple times, working through sketchy pharm still, and First Aid along with classes. Just no time to finish Uworld on top of all this with other things in life that have to get done. Hopefully it works out.

I only have about 3 weeks left of dedicated and around 45% of Uworld still unfinished. I scored 257 on my latest NMBE.
You'll be just fine. The point isn't to rush through UWorld and get in multiple passes, its to really learn to understand and make connections from the material.

wow great score, thanks for this! i've been really focusing on knowing the material before dedicated instead of trying to cram in UWorld to say I did it. I just feel behind when people tell me they'll be done with it before dedicated. I know I shouldn't listen to other people, but I did want to finish it beforehand also. just have to make the best of it

What does 'dedicated' mean? Is this a period of time in which you are JUST studying uworld only?

Dedicated is a period of time between the end of your preclinical curriculum to the date of Step 1. You don't have to ONLY study UWorld, but most people make it a priority during this time.
