Ok, I kind of searched but I am not exactly sure what terms I would use.
I am applying this summer for 2012 application. I have completed organic chemistry 1 and am currently in Biochemistry with lab. I have talked to a number of schools. Many say they will accept this with no problems, but I few say they won't. a couple said it depends on the grade, which will be As for both.
I have also heard that there is a spot on the application to indicate future classes that might be taken. my dream school will does not require ochem 2 and most of the other schools in my area will accept biochem in place of ochem 2.
I don't want take ochem 2 if i don't have to, the money, the work (i am a nontrad working 70 hours a week with 3 kids), everything. I don't want to indicate i plan on taking ochem 2 and then get accepted to a school that doesn't need it, only to have them expect it, nor do I want to show that I have no intention of taking it if it automatically means a rejection without it.
my question is can you get an conditional acceptance without indicating you are planning on taking more classes? does this make sense to anyone?
I am more interested in DO schools so I posted it here, but if anyone knows the answer regarding AMCAS as well, that would be awesome.
