Note to All Pre-Veterinary Students

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My 2 cents is this: being a 3rd time applicant (and finally accepted yay!) SDN has helped me, I like to think the majority of us future doctors know the difference between fact and opinion. Never once have I felt SDN was responsible for me not being accepted. I can guarantee you 100% that it was my shortcomings that resulted in me not being accepted. Some people need to learn to man up and take responsibility for their own actions in life and on their apps! End soapbox 🙂

Often the last bit comes with maturity, and that's not always present in younger adults. Which is ok! It's part of the process of growing up, and a necessary part of being a vet.

We're realizing the value of having pre- Veterinary students, vet students, and veterinarians all coming together to break down some of the pillars of isolation the profession built for us.

This is one of the things I like most about this forum. Sometimes it can be hard to be buddies with people on various steps of the professional "ladder." I like having a close community of applicants, students, GPs, specialists, and house officers to chat with. It's really quite nice.

See, I prefer to not talk to students and only tolerate residents cause they do my bidding. Premeds /prevets don't even raise to the level of person for me to spend enough energy to worry about ignoring

I'm surprised you even talk to vets, after all we're supposedly the "lesser doctor".

Fair enough. As for me, I leave primate medicine in general to the knuckle-draggers ;p

I still see it. Maybe cause my internet is slow.

I find her posts frustrating because she so clearly has a fundamental lack of understanding of what actually is necessary for getting into vet school - it's clear every time she posts - and she flouts this "I'm an adviser" thing so people believe her. She really should be removed from the group.

Also that last sentence was an edit. It wasn’t there before I think.

Yeah her profile pic is Winnie the Pooh. I call BS.
Okay I have been wondering which lady everyone was talking about and I had a feeling it was this lady! I thought she was applying to vet school because some posts from a while back made it seem like she was
