Hello,
I have a question regarding a post-interview letter. After interviewing last week where I was the only non-EDP person scheduled for the week, we were told that we would recieve an answer after the admissions committee met this monday. Today I recieved a letter stating that my application is on hold which at this school means not rejected but not accepted. So, my question is this. Am I recieving this letter because they can't accept me before Oct 15th or are they just driving me crazy. Does anyone else have any similar experiences.?

This means you're not accepted at this time for whatever reasons, but your application is good enough so that they want to keep you available until they review more applicants.

This is a good sign unless many more good applicants interview after you.

Hang in there. I know this is a hard time.
