I got a letter of acceptance last Monday from NOVA. Definitely excited especially since it was my top choice, heard back first from them and I didn't have the best stats. If you will be attending NOVA message me!!

For those of you who do not have the best stats, I understand EXACTLY how you feel. Just apply early if you don't get accepted this year. I had everything ready to go and ESubmitted July 4th wk (same week it opened up). I volunteered in 4 or 5 different settings and worked hard on my prerequisites (some repeated).

I think I'm starting to slowly hear back from other schools. I have an interview for TSU and plan on accepting the interview (skype) just to practice interviews.

If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me. Stay positive.

AKwolf,
do you mind posting your stats? I actually attended a tour and informational session at Nova today and it is my first choice as well! I have already e-submitted my PTCAS and plan on submitting the supplemental application on Monday. Do you have any idea how often they accept applicants? Weekly basis, etc. Also where are you from? Just curious! Really hoping I will be joining you at Nova as well!

are you doing the ft laudy campus or hybrid program in tampa? I just had a phone interview for the hybrid program in tampa yesterday.

Congrats on your acceptance! I just got the email today that I was accepted to the entry level DPT program in Ft Lauderdale. I am really excited, especially since I have been getting discouraged lately with my course load/general stress of this entire process. Everyone keep your head up. 🙂

When did you get you interview? I am still waiting to hear from them....

for the Tampa program? I had one for them last week.

Just received an acceptance letter from Nova today. Still waiting to hear back from some other schools but Nova is one of my top choices. Congrats to everyone who has heard back so far!

I received my acceptance letter today as well! This was my first choice also. For those of you that are going to attend NSU, maybe we should start a facebook page? Or is there one already started?

For those of you in the 2015 class, email me at [email protected] if you want to keep in touch. 🙂

When did you guys who just got acceptances send in your application? I sent mine in mid-October and have yet to hear anything. Congrats on your acceptances!

Oct 24th Nova emailed me that they received my PTCAS. So its been almost 3 weeks. Not bad! I thought it would take longer.

My application was sent to Nova on October 2nd and I just found out.. so you still have time!

I couldn't find a facebook page but it would be great to be able to connect with each other before classes start. We should check if Nova sets it up or if its something we'd have to do...

I know they have a facebook page however not specific for the upcoming class. I am going to the PT VIP Access they have this Friday. I can't wait!!

I was accepted yesterday to Nova's Ft. Lauderdale campus! I am so so excited!! Nova is one of my top choices, but also waiting to hear from a few others to see what my options are!

Hey Everyone-

I was recently accepted into both Nova's Ft Lauderdale program and also LIU-Brooklyn in NYC. I know they are 2 completely different locations, but I am trying to decide between the 2 schools. I interviewed at LIU so was able to get a good feel for the campus and program, but since Nova doesn't do interviews and I live in Chiacgo, I will be unable to visit.

I know many of you mentioned Nova being in your top choice schools. can you tell me why? I want to know more about Nova before making a decision and the website and PTCAS are really the only things i have to look on. Any information would be helpful, thanks and good luck to everyone!

I also got into Nova and other NY schools but I chose Nova. A huge part of my decision was location. I'm from NY so I'm ready for a change of scenery (and weather!).. I visited LIU and I know they have a great program but I hated the area.. I have heard nothing but good things from talking to current students and Nova alumni. They have their own health professions building, where every other school I looked at just had a floor in a random building. Their facilities are supposedly beautiful and their faculty seems to be excellent. I am going for their PT VIP Access session next month so I will be able to get a better feel for the program then.. I will let you know anything else I find out!

Hey thanks for your help! Please let me know what you think when you go visit. I have to make a decision by Jan 4th, so Im sure I will decide before you visit, but either way please let me know what you think. and maybe we will be classmates in the near future! 🙂 ill let you know what i decide.

I definitely will! Good luck with your decision 🙂
