Nova Application!!! plzzz help!!

Hai All,

I have been trying to complete my Nova application for some time and i seem to be majorly stuck .There are so many doubts and i'm confused as to what to write.
If there is anybody else applying for that school ,plzz help me with the application.
I understand here high school means we have to write our P U or plus 2 education???
Also they ask to list all the educational institutions i have r will attend prior to NSU matriculation..so does that mean i list from my schooling till dental????
If so what major should i write for school and how will i know the credits earned in the school????

thats fine, bcoz my application has been accepted as complete. I just a letter fromt hem that its fine.
so u can go ahead write smilarly.

I wanted to confirm with you that NOVA does offer an dds/dmd degree and not just a permit.And also after graduating you can work any where in US that is after passing that particular state licensure.Heard something different from friends so am concerned.

Thanks for your encouragement.I'm glad to see your post.i've been trying to know what my chances would be with a sore of 88,as there are very few seats availabe.But didn't see any posts regarding Nova.
Any info on Nova will be appreciated.

hi huys,first of all sorry for replying late,they keep u pretty busy with exams and stuff......
anyways,they definitely give u a dds degree,u can practise anywhere in the us with that. 🙂
well,as far as eligibility,i know people think that u have to be a fl resident,but that's not true,i have another idg(from india)in my class,who's from virginia..so there u go.. 🙄 .it is competitive,but i don't blame the applicants,great school,beautiful city,cheap.....who wouln't want that.. 😀 ..well,hurricanes. ..u would think,but it reallt does'nt affect everyone...
they do need a good score.,..i had a 91,the other idgs too had around 90s...but it differs from year to year,we had 13 seats last time,which is pretty high.
all in all.it's worth a try...so best of luck guys, 👍

i would like to know when does NOVA call the applicants for the interviews. i have applied in the end of August but have not heard from them at all.... not even that they have received my application. 🙄

kindly let me know if they take telephonic interviews too. 😕

hi everyone,sorry again for replying late...but,here r the answera to some of your queries, dont worry about them calling you, they open their applications very late summer and march, so your interviews will be in the month of APRIL 2005, they are not really good with correspondences , the only way is to keep calling them.

The school starts in the first week of august , interview is really cool and laid back, its a little chat with the applicants, the enviroment is really friendly. One of your inquiry was Dextrity test, well FORTUNATELY there isnt ANY, so cool down..

As far as the prospects after graduation although its a new school its main advantage is its computerized with the highly advanced technologies. And the international students joins the regular Dental students of NSU so there is no difference in the treatment , we all get the same attention. In my personal opinion the college is really good and will aquire a good position in the list of dental schools down the road.

And for you TOOTHZONE, I havent received your private message, if you could send me your email address or the message again , wud be nice.

I'm not sure if they conduct a telephonic interview, but call up NOVA and ask for SUANN ZARRETTE or Nichole in the admissions for dental students, they will give you the required info.

Hi, I'm an international student at Nova, entered this fall (aug) , right now in second year, so the answer to your question, NO.... Nova doesnt have a rolling addmissions, they wait till Feb to review who to call and not to call for the interview, as long as you get the forms in by Feb its cool.

I'm a student of Nova, just started school in fall, and No there is no rolling admissions for nova, ofcourse the sooner the better so they can check and see if your forms are missing any pertinent information, but after the deadline the committee gets together and decides who to call and who not to for the interviews. So if you get your form in by feb, your cool.
