after nova receives your pharmcas application, they review it, then nova sends you the link to the supplemental if they want to interview you.
I'm not sure if this is necessarily true. I applied last year to NOVA. They had me fill out the supplemental. Only to send me a letter about a month later telling me my GPA did not meet the minimum required GPA. So why did they send me the supplemental? They wanted to make $50 I'm sure. Meanwhile they did not take into consideration my Academic Update on PharmCAS which factored in 22 more credits, yes 22, at 3.9 GPA.
When I called to try to inquire about it. I got a call back a week later just saying okay, we'll call you if anything changes. I wasn't really happy with how it was handled.
I applied again this year, as I finished my BS 3.5 (3.8 for my major) (although overall was only a 3.0, I transferred schools and my freshman year brought me down), now working on my MS in Biology. I also applied much earlier. Just submitted the supplemental today. We'll see, I only did average on my PCATs. I see a lot of people said they got interview invites a day or two after submitting the supplemental application. So we'll see what happens. Its early in the game still so hopefully they will invite me for an interview even if I'm not the greatest candidate.
