So the interviews are into november or did you just choose that date? I'm suprised all the Sept and Oct interview slots are all gone seeing as how they only seem to be interviewing those in the very first mailing...

I was just thinking something about the interviews dates people are getting..... the dates seem to jump from Oct to Sep to Nov then back to Sep. If people are saying they got their interview at X date immediately (within a day or 2) when they find out from Nova then Nova would be specifically offering interviews according to strength of the applicant's application. This can only be verified if we knew each applicants' app (stats, ecs, ps, lors) and understood what the adcoms are looking for (neither of which we will find out). The dates jump around so Nova cannot be assigning dates according to the time they receive applications unless.............. People are not immediately (within a day or 2) notifying their dates by posting it in this thread. If that is the case then this post is irrelevant since the interview dates stated and time of post would have no correlation.

I barely got updated to be invited for interview on 7/22/09 on AADSAS and got packet today 7/24/09. They got me down for an interview October 1. I'm not sure if that is early or not but it's definitely far from November like everyone is fearing. So I guess don't assume all the interview slots are full.

They gave me 2 weeks to confirm this interview though.

i looked at packages on priceline.com and it was 25. but there are places that don't have that requirement.

Thinking about flying down on the 30th and then staying until saturday or sunday. Can usually rent a car under 25, but they add on a surcharge of about $25-$30/day.

if my AADSAS status says "Received/ under review", does it mean they have received my signed form (the last one you send after submitting the supplemental) and my application is complete?

Every time after work as I try to confirm my interview appointment, no one ever answers the phones. I wanna confirm with someone over the phone and not to the machine just to make sure it goes through.

i know what you're saying...i've tried at least 40 times since this morning...only Dr. Lipman picks up and he says to call the "unanswerable" number...just keep trying i guess...

They will NOT answer the phone. Leave them a message with your Name, date of interview, and whether or not you'll be attending. They will send you an e-mail confirming that they have received your message.

I called on Thu 7/16 and received the confirmation email on 7/21. So, it takes some time before you get that email.
Calling them doesn't seem like a good option, because they hardly ever answer their phone (and I don't blame them). Try emailing them instead.

If they've given you that date, it means all the earlier dates are unavailable!
I wouldn't recommend rescheduling for a later date, because they usually can't guarantee whether or not you'll get it.
Mine is on Sep 23rd. PM if you wanna hang out and check out the area, before the interview!

My status changed on AADSAS on the 17th with invited for interview...so it's been 11 days and i still didn't get that letter with the date...my best guess is that it got lost on the way because i live in GA and it should not have taken more than a few days...i've tryied to call the school but no one is picking up...except Dr. Lipman who's transferring me to the same number that no one picks up...any suggestions on the number or email address...the problem is that from what i see on this thred i have 2 weeks to confirm my date, and it's almost two weeks, but i don't have anything to confirm. Thanks.
