Yeah I would definitely try to get a hold of anyone. I got my packet yesterday and my status changed yesterday and I live in Wisconsin, so yours definitely got lost or something. When I called their number early this morning they answered right away. I would try right away when they open. That really sucks though, good luck!
 
The times that they sent us, those are when we need to be there correct, not just when our interview is?

For example, if it says September 20th, 10:00AM, it means that you need to be at the school at 10:00AM.
The order of events differs at each school. Some schools start with your interview and then move on to the school tour etc. Others will first take you for a tour and/or introduce their faculty, and finally interview you towards the end of the day!

yeah, i'm at 11:45 too...but i didn't get the letter, i just called and asked so i didn't know all those details...well, good luck and i'll see you there...i hope you go first! :laugh:
 
Hey those guys that have october interivews, where are you guys staying. I have mine on october 2nd, i am staying at a hotel 5-10 min from the school

Whats the name of the hotel? Im october 1. Im thinking about staying an extra day to check out miami though. Miami's like 30 min away i think. I heard a couple of the motels give free shuttle services too.
 
I'm September 9th as well.. 11:45 am. So I guess I will see you guys there!!

My status on AADSAS still does not say "invited for an interview" though.. I'll feel much better once that changes, and once I get a confirmation e-mail that they received my message confirming my interview. Ahhh, I'm so excited about everything!! 😀

Has anyone else that left a message confirming that they would be there not received an e-mail?
 
I have as well, but I think I read somewhere that it took them 5 days or so to respond.
 
I called an hour ago and the phone was answered. Confirmed for 11/6

I also called talked directly to someone there.....Are we supposed to get a email verification anyway? or is that just for those that left a message.....
 
how do you find out your interview date? is it in the package you receive?
 
I was invited 7/20 on AADSAS and I called 7/23 and left a message confirming and I haven't received an email. So I'm going to keep calling now til I get through to make sure they got my voicemail.

Just did and got through! They got my voicemail and said I'm all set for my interview.
 
Quick question.... is there anybody whose AADSAS got mailed out 7.10 but has NOT had their AADSAS status updated?

I sent out my secondaries on 7.10 but my status has not been changed to Under review =(
anybody else in my shoes?

As far as I've heard, only Nova and Case(?) are updating through AADSAS yet/at all.
 
oh, i meant specifically for Nova applicants.
Nova has not even updated it on AADSAS to under review for me.

Some of the mailings even after 7.10 have received interviews. Now whether my stats are up to par, eh i dont know, :xf:... but I wanted to make sure that my application wasn't lost altogether.

so any NOVA applicants before or around 7.10 mailing that DONT have any updates on AADSAS?

they probably won't be in this thread...you may be better off posting your question in the "anyone heard from DS yet?" thread
 
icedspice- Mine was submitted on 07/02 and so was my friend (who has pretty much the same stats as me). He has been invited for interview and I haven't had "under review" on my AADSAS. I can't seem to get hold of anyone. I left them a message. It is a little discouraging.

It's not all about your stats, and it's way too early to be discouraged!

Thanks, I just thought this would be the better place... I havnt heard anything from NOVA, but I still check this thread to make sure I am on track... So i was assuming other non-interviewees would be checking it out too...

I am not necessarily worried about my stats (even though everyone who got invites does have drop dead amazing scores, kudos!).. I wanted to make sure I am not one of those cases.. like OOPS, you were misfiled... sorry! haha...

I have been trying to call them too... but nobody picks up! I had emailed them earlier to make sure my secondaries had gone through okay (I think everybody had trouble opening the pdfs though) and they never responded to that. So I am pretty sure voicemails wont be really tended to for status updates type of queries...
If I hear anything from them tomorrow, I will let you know 😀
 
Is the date on the letter written day/month/year?

I think they put the year so there is no confusion about what year your interview is in.

Mine says "...meet the Interview Team on 9/11/2009 at 11:45 am..."
I'm so confused.
 
My status changed today to "Invited for Interview"!! Hope I get the packet soon 🙂 btw, I was a 7/17 mailed-out applicant if that helps anybody
 
it helps me! mine was 7/17 too. i have sent my 2ndaries but my status still says under review. I want an interview !!!
 
hey guys! I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at NOVA to accept my interview invitation and the number that they gave me to call has a full mailbox, so I can't even leave a message. Is anyone else having this problem?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
 
From what I've been reading it appears that they are getting all the messages and emails but making contact has been tough. I caught them on thursday morning (i think before noon is a time when they tend to answer the phone more).

I would email them now and call again monday on the early side

It was sent out 7/17 and I finished their supplemental on 7/23 so I'm surprised my interview is so soon. I'm not complaining tho

btw did they send you an email first to let you know about the interview?
I received a confirmation email saying that they got my 2ndary app on the 20th. Not fair they gave you interview first!!! just kidding man. Good luck.

Hey everyone, my status finally changed from nothing to interview invite! im super excited people, Ill just wait till i recieve my interview package, and then meet up with all u guys perhaps!
P.S. for the people who have submitted their app early and their aadsas status has not been changed yet, dont worry! , my package was mailed out on 7/10, and it was till today that Nova put something on there, Ive also recieved the email from MWU for interview but that doesnt even show on the aadsas! good luck everyone...
 
Those of you who are invited for interviews.. did you guys all have a recommendation letter from a liberal art professor?

It says on their website that they require one from liberal art professor..so just wondering =)

They sent my package August 3rd, I received it today, August 5th. They don't have my official DAT scores yet, so it's somewhat strange I got invited for an interview...I guess they are taking my word for it on my AADSAS application?

My interview is set for Sep. 9th, 11:45am.
