My sister is taking the np licensing exam and wold appreciate any advice any one who has taking the exam or is going to take the exam can give in terms of study tips and what resources are useful

I'd recommend you check out the nursing specific forum. There, she will find a large number of NP students and those practicing who would best be able to help her out. You can find the Nurse Practitioner specific forum of the All Nurses forum here:

also many np programs(example fnp) have more than 1 board that governs them and more than 1 test. you only need to pass 1 of the 2 out there so at least around here all the fnp students take both.....

get the fitzgerald stuff and take the course if possible. it was great. also practice, practice, practice the study questions!
