NP vs PA in terms of insurance compensation

I read on all nurses.com that PAs are more eligible for insurance reimbursement. Is this true? Can you find any information sources on this? I can't figure out if this is true or not, but I can't see any reason why NPs would be less eligible for reimbursement. Whats up?

should be the same.for those insurance plans that give different levels of payment based on provider type midlevels typically bill out at 85% of the md rate unless a doc is significantly involved in a case.
