Got the dreaded email a few minutes ago. Been busy running and jumping for joy! Cried for a minute as well...

Took me a minute to click it and open my eyes but it read simply:

Congratulations! You have matched.

I actually matched: Thousands of hours spent studying, hundreds of thousands of dollars drained in tuition, and years spent listening to people discourage good caribbean grads.

Just letting everyone know it is possible to match into a specialty.

GL to all.

CONGRATSSSSS!!!! were did you match? in what?

CONGRATSSSSS!!!! were did you match? in what?

I will let u know when I get the "where did i match" email on thursday...

Why do they drag it out for three days??

SGU with a quarter million dollar loan! At this point its worth every penny! 😎

Very nice!!! GO SGU!!! it looks like another solid match year for us.

Even with the competition I am with you on this RJ, SGU will represent well among the good programs and desirable specialties.
I HOPE we get 20 anesth, and atleast 10 rads and a handful in ortho, cat gen surg..👍..guess we will find out THURS.
Cheers to SGU for preparing great candidates!

Matched in my number one choice: WSU Cat. Anesthesia....woo hoo!

GL to all seeking a successful match in the next round. IMO Good carib grads can be successful in the very competitive specialty match process!

I have confidence that you will be receiving the match of your choice a year from now.

Look me up when you are around for interviews.

Thanks. If I interview there I'll definitely find you to say hello.

again best of luck in residency. I am confident that you'll do great. with some work and motivation SGU has prepared us to succeed in whatever specialty we end up.

Wow thats amazing!! You're proving everyone out there wrong who says Carib students don't get into good residencies. Best of luck to you!!!
