I'm pretty sure nephrotoxicity is a class "effect" of NSAIDS. The mechanism of action of a NSAID is to vasoconstrict the afferent arteriole, thereby reducing glomerular filtration. All NSAIDS do this, which is why they are risky to use in patients with very poor renal function.
Sulindac and nabumetone have been suggested to be renal-sparing but the clinical studies go either way. So take the sparing claim with a grain of salt.
