Guys, I just recieved my acceptance letter from NSU-COM. I am so grateful and relieved to have atleast one for sure seat in next years class. To all those still waiting I wish you all the best 🙂 I want to post something else as soon as my heart rate gets under 120...

I live in Miami. I was not home when the cert.letter came but they left me a notice to pick it up at the post-office. I also reieved a congratulations card from NSU-COM separate from the notice. GOOD LUCK and I hope yours arrives today.

Actually its about 87 bright and sunny here right now.

I just wish I could get out and enjoy it....hmmm actually I think I am going to take my biochem notes to the pool.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I haven't been to the beach yet but I saw a lot of crap with erosion on TV.

They asked us on our interview day (8/20/04) if any of us had received the online secondary. We all answered no and then they said that it was a new thing. So, I suppose it was implemented after secondary got underway this year and we had all applied very early. Getting through at the school via phone is a challenge but it can be done and once you are through they are very helpful and kind so keep trying and I am sure you will resolve your issue, good luck.

Still nothing here in Southern California. I'm beginning to wonder if they just sent out their definate acceptances...sort of like the military...they have definately promote, promote and don't promote. Maybe they are waiting on other interviews to make a decision about the acceptances and rejections..and only contacted the definate acceptances.

I haven't received anything either. I called yesterday morning and she said that she sent me an "information package" not this past Wednesday, but the Wednesday before. I am in Montreal, however so everything takes a little longer. Good luck to everyone! Congrats to those with acceptances!

Hey guys,

Dont forget to make SURE your file is complete. The interview process at NSU is very different this year; they are trying to streamline everything. Because of this, this year you can get an interview before your file is complete. However, you will not be reviewed until your file is 100% complete. I would give a call even if you think your file is complete just to make sure that they have everything. Good luck!

I bet you are right Audacious. I had a question in my mind as to if they would accept the letter of recommendation from my DO. See, she's my aunt, but I thought since she's related to me only through my father's second marriage long after I had moved out of the house, they would accept it, but I'm guessing they didn't.

What where.. how... what are you talking about... too much non assential information.

Do they know that she is related to you (non-blood relative). Does she have the last name as you? Who cares if it was durring after you where there and there...

Just tell your aunt not to mention it in the letter and they won't ask.

You know the saying ... to ask to tell.

Has anybody heard anything else, I have only seen a handfull of people with acceptances, but I haven't heard of anybody with a rejection. Has anybody called to see what the hold up is?

I just called and they told me everyone who interviewed on 8/16 has a letter in the mail. 😡
