hey everyone, ive posted here a few times before and im hoping someone can shed some light for me. i was accepted to NSU and i sent in my initial deposit about three weeks ago but havent heard anything from the school. is this customary or am i supposed to receive a letter or conformation or something? what happened with those accepted last year? thanks in advance for any responses 👍

I think I called to confirm and then received something in the mail later; I would give them a call and double check just in case. Have you been told how to access WebStar yet? If you have your code and all, then you could check there also.

no, i havent received any info other than directions to pay. i dont think my check has been cashed yet either...maybe more patience is key...

I would call and check.

i will call tomorrow...otter, did you get anything back from them???

I haven't sent in my deposit yet...I'm actually waiting until December to send it in(I just don't have any money wiggle room at this moment). But when I do send it, I'm going to call to make sure they got it. 😀

Good luck calling, I have called several times to ask ?'s and everyone always seems to be away from their desk, and i wouldn't waste my breath on a message because they never have called me back form a month ago, nor replied to my e-mails.

I agree, I have had trouble getting into contact with certain people at NSU...however, I think it is simply that they are very busy this time of the year. After a little bit of persistance (I don't usually leave messages), I have been able to get ahold of someone when I needed to...maybe you should try calling someone else...it seems to work for me.

Otter 1812, you may want to track the package or send it certified. It costs a few extra dollars (maybe 3 for priority mail with tracking), but may be worth having that peace of mind--especially if you will be sending it in close to the deadline.

Thanks. I was planning on sending it certified. 🙂
