Is there cheaper tuition for NYCOM for in-state residents? If so, what are the requirements to be considered in state? On my AACOMAS I put my permanent address as NJ, but I was wondering if I'd be able to claim in-state residency if I live with my brother in NY.

Thanks!

I don't know if it makes a difference. On aacom.org, it looks like the tuition is almost the same instate and outstate. I know its freaking expensive man. I can not believe how expensive it is compared to state schools.

Sorry but tuition is same for instate/outofstate.

NYCOM is part of NYIT which is a private school so that would be my guess of why the tuition is so much compared to state schools.
