i'm writing a letter of interest to nycom in hopes of getting an interview. But whenever I send things to the admissions office they say they can't tell me if it was received or not. Should i send it to the address for the admissions dept on the nycom site or to a particular individual/faculty member at teh school? Also, is the DPC program still just 40 people getting in each year or is it something they are planning on allowing more people to take part in?

i interviewed there 3/13 and asked specifically about the dpc program and how many students they would allow. since it is successful, they are increasing the number of students in dpc next year to 55-60 (i think thats the number he gave me, maybe more).

What exactly is the DPC?

doctor patient continuum ... nycoms version of problem based learning

i sent a loi out also, i sent it to the director of admissions and her address is one of the options on the automated telephone response when you call them. i guess it worked, since i did get an interview.

^^ Next week right? Wednesday? Best of luck man, kick ***. Save a seat for me (If I even get an interview).
