NYCPM female student for 2020

Just wondering if I could get any suggestions on housing? Areas of Manhattan where students have lived safely. Also, if there are any female students looking for a roommate

I feel so old when I see class of 2020.

I also think of this.

School offers housing to first years. Take advantage of it. Its usually priced fairly well and close to the school.

If you would like to room with any of your classmates I would suggest posting on the 2020 fb group you should of been invited to. Also NYCPM has a student exchange group for reasons such as this. If you are short out of luck with those options craigslist or any online sources for finding roommates have been used by NYCPM students. Most students stay in upper west, by the "green line" meaning by the 4,5,6 trains, as long as you stay around that subway line it will take you no longer then 20 min to get to school. Anything on the east side may be too time consuming so again stick to west side between 70-103 street. Also a side note, student housing prices have recently been brought down not a bad idea for a first year! Good luck! Feel free to pm for any other questions =]

Look into the above responses if you prefer to live in Manhattan. If you have a car and prefer to live in a less metropolitan environment, several students live in Long Island City, Queens and Astoria, Queens: 10-20 minute drive to NYCPM. If you don't have a car, there are also buses and trains that can get you from these areas of Queens to school in a jiffy. Happy hunting!
