I THINK I HAVE TO IMPROVE A LOT HOPE I T WILL HELP OTHRES

87-PART 1
98-TOEFL
3.O8

The chances for the waitlisted are very few, depends if you are in the top of the list, or not..., but you never know , they won't tell you . There is still a very little hope that somebody gives up at his spot, and God helps you to get in... It is a matter of faith, prayer and waiting:scared:.................waiting😡 and more waiting.😱 I understand you perfectly...🙂

part1;87 Toefl;104 GPA; 3.33 Exp; 7 yrs in India.
Interviewed on 21st feb.

GPA seems to be a big criteria for NYU😕😕
 
I got the letter yesterday and i got waitlisted ! my stats are part 1-87,

toefl-114, gpa 3.35, and 5 years experience in India.

Hello.. do you mind telling the part-1 score 87 is in new format or old format?

anyone who interviewed on march 6 recieved anything?i called them today they told that they have already send me the letter...bt i didnt recieve anything yet...they asked me to call couple of days latter to send another one....😕

Hi vgp, I havn't received anything either. I called them and the gentleman even refused to check my status for me 😡. He just told me to call in a couple of days.

I had my interview on march 6th. I called NYU friday afternoon. they told me that the letter was sent to me in that day (friday), but I didn't receive it yet. That makes me verrrrrrrrry nervous.........:scared:
 
I think so far we see a mix...rejection, waitlist, and acceptances......lets keep our fingers crossed :scared:...ppl who get a response if you can keep mentioning when they were interviewed and their stats can be stated will be helpful to others...thnx in advance.

i haven't received any mail frm NYUCD... may be by this weekend i might get some mailer......will keep you posted in these forums.....

i also called the on friday,first i talked to a gentleman who asked me that if i had not received anything in writing and told me to call after some time.i was excited and thought that i shd be in but then i called again and i was told that decision has not been made yet.
but now I see that they have started sending rejections and that guy was pretty sure that i shd have received something, even scared of thinking anything dont know positive or negative
just prays and prays

HI ! I don't want to scare you guys, but I have the bad feeling ,that are no more acceptance letters. It is way too late 🙁... I hope I am wrong but ussualy a long silence and waiting means bad news😡 Any other opinion?....

wait till saturday is over..then call 'em on monday and find out if they have anything to say...does it hurt being psoitive or hopeful?:idea::idea:

may be in anticipation...🙁
 
at the same time...no posting about waitlist and rejections either 😕
 
I still waiting I went to feb interviewand I was acepted in the past very difficult to said as far as the people in waiting list is good they will send you a letter in agt this is what happened to me good luck all the poeple waiting someone will call for me today ...................

hi everyone I am also waitlisted. I was interviewed on 29 Jan still no answer. My stat is part 1 88 new format, TOEFL 253, GPA 3.29 Experience 6 months in us. I dont have any hope coz i think its too late now. 🙁
 
i called up NYUCD this morning around 8:20 Am CST...they haven't made any decision on my application...its still under review...so guys hang in there...especially march 6th interview batch...it's not over yet.....😎😎

[I was accepted 2005 with only 85 but I refused because family issues yes they send me a letter in the past

All the spots haven't filled yet..many applications are still under pending..hang in there...this time they might consider..usually nyu considers reapplicants...

Got the letter today through USPS🙂 The letter is dated April 3, mailed out April 8.
Status: part I 91(new),Gpa3.5

BTW,I called NYU yesterday and was told no decision had been made.

part 1= 92[ though i applied with an 89 in oldformat n was even called based on that..]
