Just wanted to check. Is NYU only accepting ECE this year? I hope not. Can anyone please confirm.

kindly explain the source of your information that nyu is gonna take only ece, when the website still says"course by course report from foreign credential evaluation service", somhow i cant see ece there!!!!!!
you could hurt many people who have low ece score but a much better wes score and have NYU as their only hope...........LIKE ME 😡

If you download the advanced standing application(PDF file) you will see it mentioned under the Checklist.

"An official copy of your course-by-course credential evaluation of your transcripts
including a grade point average. New for 2006 applications onward, only ECE
(Educational Credential Evaluators) evaluations accepted. Contact ECE by calling
414-289-3400 or visit their website at www.ece.org."

You are absolutely right. I don't know why I have beem blasted by so many people for asking this question. I too have a lower ECE GPA but I guess these things cannot be helped

I am extremely sorry, you are right.it is only ece eval from 2006 onwards.
everything is going wrong in life ,this is just another big one.sorry!!

my ece gpa is 2.05 and wes is 3.2, toefl is 273 and i am waiting for my part 1 score, i check my mail everyday, it has been 2 weeks, i am sick of waiting, where can i apply even at this time when most colgs deadlines r closed already and most of the ones remaining dunt take wes evaluation ????????had great hopes on NYU, but they just got shattered, where can i even apply forget getting in anywhere?i have a green card though, and hubby doesnt wanna move out of the area..........can life be more depressing????????? plz help

i guess upenn(philadelphia) takes both wes and ece, and their dealdline is jan 16th,moreover,they dont ask for official copies of national board, so u can still apply there.There might be some other universities also which will accept wes, so dont worry,look around.
