Hi! hydentist, I am new to this forum,after how many days they cash ur check? i am in same situation,I send my additinal documents with check on 16th nov...but don't know about it...they just send me an email about sending official score reports from NBDE & TOEFL.
did u receive ur appl complete email?

Apparently It took them about 3 weeks to encash my check, I have not yet received the application complete e-mail. I'm just worried.. I call them and nobody picks up the phone....!!!

1)in "my application status" u can see a "program designation" column ..u will be able to find when did caapid send ur documents to nyu ...or u can call caapid in this no. 617-612-2035 & ask them ..
2) u can check the status of ur transcript too

i sent original ece to caapid..if u r really worried u can send an original one to nyu..
nyu won't send an application received mail..
i think they will process the application only after receiving the fee

thanx a lot,I called caapid and they told my application is forwarded to nyu and I called NYU today and they told me to wait a week.Just worried as deadline is approaching.No other option.I send cheque with documents last week.SO as you said they might have not recieved my cheque.

hey can anyone guide me if one gets accepted in any university hw much liquid money one has to show in the account to get student visa. no doubt tht we can get loan if there is someone to co-sign, but we cant say it in u.s consulate tht we have taken loan and tht too from u.s....
can anyone put some light?...new york univ the expenses are almost 3 lakh dollars..,, which is almost impossible for someone to show ...

I got an email from NYU, stating that my application is complete one week ago
 
i got nbde/toefl/gpa 91/88/3.36 can i get have low toefl will nyu except this application need help didnt get toefl date before 16 jan in any city near by.

hey desires dont worry just apply... you have really gud gpa infact excellent and toelf is gud too. u never knw wats gonna happen .so its better to apply. i have herad tht people with 83 got accepted last time. and its wat i knw .probably it might be less than that..gud luck👍

they called to ask me to choose the interview date ,from 12th till 28th of january, i have to choose a day and have no idea what will be the interview about???does it mean that they are happy with my scores that now they want to meet with me in person?plz someone give advice!
 
Congratulations for the call. Did u get a call for Advanced standing program which is for 3 yrs? Just was curious to know if they started calling people already because this is first time anyone heard from them for interview I guess. Pls let us know...

finally we get to hear something new from NYU ...so the interview calling process has started ...well i tried to search what NYU has in store for the interviews but in vain as i am new here as well , but u will definitely get some advice here as soon as the experienced ones read ur post and reply to ur questions🙂🙂 and ofcourse an interview call is the next big step after applications to ur admission... so be happy🙂🙂

i got a phone call on friday for interview in international dentist program which is 3 year ,and im so nervous about it ,i m not in usa ,im working in hungary as a dentist ,and i should arrange my works in less than 1 month,plz advice me if u have any experience on nyu interview or if u suggest any book to study?thanks and good luck to all of u. :luck:
 
hi...congrats for your interview invitation...dont be tensed for the intrview,its a very casual one...they just want to know u in person...they will ask about u and tell u about their program...nothing to prepare for...your gpa is very good,thats what nyu wants....all the best..🙂
 
I never knew if NYU calls for interview by phone calls.....

In the interview experience Sticky, someone had written that NYU called her via phone.

hey i agreed with bombay bds but i think we posted simuntaneously.
dont worry about the interview. just formal questions are asked about u and you family. watever u wrote in sop, stick to that. have positive attitude. if there are some weaknesses in your resume or profile just be prepared to have some reasonable point for that..you have an excellent gpa which is a major factor for selection as per nyucd is concerned. i think so u need not worry.

NYU has started the interview process their deadline is approaching and I have not yet received the application complete e-mail. I'm feeling so low. 🙁

don't worry, they have just started the inteview process and sending out invitations so there still a long way to go....!!!!

My NBDE score was delivered on last friday...!! but check was cashed much earlier...!! hope this helps
