I have an interview at NYU for Tuesday, September 27 but I have come down with illness and it is not getting better anytime soon. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with interview rescheduling with NYU? Considering how last minute this is, I doubt anyone will want to swap interviews. Thank you.

Unless this is a really serious illness, I'd try to attend. This is coming up in 2 days!

If I were you I would suck it up and take the interview. If you try to reschedule, you may never get that interview. I would happily take it if i could.

how many interviews do you have? if you have many, maybe rescheduling is not terrible, if you dont, then try to make it. You should call now, and make sure that it would be fine to attend if you are feeling under the weather ( so you dont get anyone else sick). if they say its fine, then go in, if not, then THEY might suggest rescheduling.

Unless you are not seriously sick, you should attend the interview. The interview itself is very short. You just spend the rest of the day after the interview attending a Q & A with the Deans of the college, tour of the dental school, and finally lunch with the dental students and tour guide (which you can skip if you want).

I'm sure if the price is right, someone would be willing to swap interviews with you. As a wise man once said, put your money where your mouth is.
