evenif ur score is higher but gpais low...will they consider?

hi for the interveiw i first received a email and then i received a ups courier yeserday of the same letter .

just hope and prey all you guys waiting will receive n email but as the holiday season has began in nyu dont expect anything till 2 jan just stay calm if it is ment to be there you will get the email

Last year NYU took 120 students.They have the largest seats available.Their interviews are easy too ,just personnal questions.So all the best to everyone .

For the class of 2009 NYU accepted 120 students and not 80-90. Good luck to everyone. And remember, be confident no matter what.

😎 hi walnut their cut off is 85 but i personally think that the part 1 score is not the sole critreia to be called for the interveiw ....

they do see yr toefl score and gpa as well as letter

Toefl 260

Hi friends,
I got an interview call from NYU yesterday through regular mail, not email. I applied in the middle of October.I have to call after January 2nd to schedule the date.My stats are:
Part 1- 95%, GPA- 3.86, Toefl 267, Work experience- 7 years of private practice back home and some observeship in USA.
NYU has 120 seats for the advanced standing program. i hope it has the highest seats for the foreign trained dentists and i highly appreciate this.

If NYU is where you want to go, then, yes you will get in there this year. You have good scores, so you may want to wait until next year and look at the other schools which offer two year programs. I am not saying NYU is a bad school but the program is real long (3 years vs 2 years at most other schools). So you could work somewhere next year and save some money towards school or get some volunteer research assistantship if you can not work and apply to more schools next year. You may end up liking some other school than NYU. Just my 2 cents.

if u think abt post grad and want to score gud enuf and be THE Dentist with damn good professionalism... improve, aim at the ndb so high so u have more options

the SUBJ CORE IN U wud talk in one way or other in real core of dentistry AIM FOR THAT, its cool if u have infinite patience!! thats wat our dream shud be 👍
