Howdy...When I went to the interview there was a tall drink of water with dark hair in the office he is very cute. I think he is married but he was very friendly and I think it is Mr. Spencer😍 (he is a Supervisor for Admissions)....I spoke with him on the phone (Mr. Spencer) and he was very helpful with living around NYC so maybe he can help with where to stay while you are at the interview? Anyway, I can't wait to get started at NYU I got my acceptance letter two weeks ago!!!😀

Congrats! So when was your interview Oceans 1? I have also been invited for an interview. Mine is on Jan 23rd. I thought they were starting the interviews from Jan 9th onwards. Do let us know ur stats and how was the interview?
 
i dont think oceans1 is talking abt international program,,,our interviews are starting on 9th jan,,so all the best guys👍

thanks for u r wishes i really need it.i applied in nov. infact but they had not received my toefl even by mid december despite the fact that i had ordered for the toefl scores in early nov.
i called them up too , went on answering machine..🙁

It was a very nice experience.
The guide told that, this time they are considering only about 400 (out of which only 100 are reapplicants) applications.Last year they considered 900 applications. They are pretty much serious about GPA this time. They are considering only ECE.They are going to fill all the seats by March end. They said, we can expect a decision within 3 weeks after the interview. They are going to begin the classes from June 4th.

So guyz, please hurry up with your schedules.

Thanks for information. Do you know if they have a minim requirement for NDBE and for Toefl? I looked on the website ,and they speak only about old Toefl format ,but they don`t give any requirement for the internet Toefl .

I apllied to nyu on 25th september......Do you think its too late???do they call everyone according to their application date???
I called them yesterday and they told me that they have reviewed my application and they have not decided about calling me for interview....
I got the same answer from upen too. and after somedays I got rejected...
thats why I am very much worried....anyways thanks for giving me hope....

This is kinda strange for me to accept that NYU hasn't yet decided calling you with 93 score. But don't worry, you shud be getting the call very soon. All the very best. Did you apply in Boston or any other university? Take care.
 
LOL....Sorry I recieved an acceptance from the DDS program...however I may not attend since the culture is so differant from what I would like. NYC is just too much for me. Good luck!

alright friends i got few pm's asking me abt interview experience,,so i thought i would put it here,,
well i reached at 7.30 in the morning to the university,,and my interview was over by 8.30....the first thing in the morning is ur interview,,so make sure u guys reach on time.after the interview we had a brief discussion with the senior student regarding the school and the program and all other stuff,,then we had a school tour,,trust me guys school is awesommmeeeeee👍
if its three yr course,fine,,,if its expensive,fine.....trust me i felt attending that school is worth every single penny,,alright then after the tour we had financial aid discussion and then lunch with a senior student,,,and thats it🙂
it was all over by 12.10pm.
ok guys now regarding interview questions,,it all depends on which person is interviewing u,,,well for me the person who interviewed was very cool,,and he dint ask me a single standard question,,,he had read my file before hand,,so he picked a question from that,,otherwise all the time we were talking about different languages spoke in india😉 ,,and he was repeatedly asking do u want to ask something??do u have any questions for me??for which i was not at all prepared,,,but still the conversation went on for 20-25 mins,,,
thats it for now 😴 ,,,lemme sleep,,coz i dint sleep the whole night before interview and i missed my connnecting flight from detroit,,and the whole trip was messed up,,i had to reach home at 7,,and i reached at 1 in the night😴 ,,,bye guys pray for me that i should get in,,😴
 
how can i miss this,,,meeting prady was a gr88 experience in itself😀 ,,,thanks a lot prady for all ur help😀 hope i will be ur junior and eat ur brains more than what i do now:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

PLZ. guide me .... as i was in waiting list at nyu last year . This year i tried to improve my scores ...but prometric centre created a mess..i'm trying to take NDBE pat-1 since dec. but they kept postponing it. i Want to apply again at nyu....
can anybody tell me how to reactivate my application. I called them ...they asked me to send application & a letter.
i just want to share & take some guidance from my friends.:scared:

u ought to send in a cover letter and an application as far as i know.maybe u should call keven lee he would guide you better.what was ur previous score?most of the ppl got waitlisted as they applied late not cuz they had poor scores.

hi guys,

i very much agree with what sweetgal has written abt the interview.
its a very nice experience and all those going for the interviews,i am sure u will all like the school.
regarding interview its very cool,in 15-20 min all u have to answer is 1-2 questions and then the interviewer starts talking abt the school and the program.but still i would say prepare yourself well,remain calm and then at the end its only luck which matters.
above all we got to meet some nice people and thanks Prady for your time for sharing all the information abt the program.
