NYU travel question

I have an interview there on Monday and I am wondering what's the best way to get from NYUCD to LaGuardia. I booked a shuttle from LGA to my hotel, like $17. But the only shuttle that can take me from the hotel to LGA leaves at 12:55p which I think means I would have to leave the interview early.

So what's the best way to get from the school to LGA besides a shuttle? And for those that already interviewed what time does the day end? P.S. my plane leaves at 4 pm. Any help would be appreciated.

the day that i went the whole thing ended at 1 but the last thing we did was have a lunch with the students for about 45 minutes so you could always just skip that part if you needed too
