We are currently a group of 3 physicians and soon to be 3 midwives who work in a private practice setting in Voorhees, NJ. We would like to add another physician to our cohort. We are part of Advocare and practice exclusively at Virtua Voorhees hospital; our office is directly in front of the hospital, very easy access!
Virtua hosptal is a teaching institution with a residency program and a level 3 NICU. There is a 24/7 laborist physician and laborist midwife who cover the hospital in addition to the residents. The hospital does over 7k deliveries annually; we have ~25-28 per month in our practice alone.
Our practice is a good mix of OB and GYN. We do a significant amount of office procedures and even have a CRNA that comes in to perform procedures like polypectomies, 1st trimester D&Es, and LEEPs to name a few. Our providers also perform major GYN surgeries including minimally invasive procedures; there is also robotic opportunities.
On call duties would be on average 1 day (24 hours) a week and 1 in 4 weekends which includes some weekends being back up call for the midwives. We take home call and have the assistance of the laborist providers if necessary.
Benefits include:
