I'm in the process of completing observation hours and there's a hospital in my area that treats patients of different populations (Aquatics, Pediatrics, Neurologic, Cardio, etc...). I want to know would it make a difference if I observe these populations in the same location instead of the variety of locations when filling out the online application on PTCAS. Any and all answers are appreciated.

On the PTCAS application it will allow you to choose what you observed in that specific location (Ped's, neurologic, geriatric, etc..) so you would put all of that under the one location. When the PT you are observing goes to sign off on the hours they will confirm what boxes you checked. The more populations you observe, the better! However, if your school requires two different settings you will need another completely different setting as this only counts as one.
