General Admissions & OTCAS Observations Hours

Is it necessary to upload an observation form to verify my observation hours? I know this is optional on the OTCAS site, but do they require us to prove we did those many hours?

I called today and they said the option is only for schools that specifically list that they want a certain form filled out. So the school would provide the form for you. Most don't do it

Yea I got the same information. I'm kind of annoyed, especially if you've accumulated several hundred hours it kind of diminishes it. I made my own document and had the OTs sign off. So I'm going to put everything in one big document if anyone of the schools does actually choose to look through it.

On a side note, when visiting some of the schools they said you can explain your observation/volunteer experiences in the health care experience sections so I plan to do that
