Hi
Does anyone have any idea whether Mayo clinic will refund the application fee of 350USD if in case they do not accept our application for observership. Eagerly awaiting reply.Thank you.

Don't you think that asking Mayo directly would be more helpful than posting that question here?

If it's an "application fee," my guess is probably not.

I applied for electives as an international visiting student at a U.S. med school. They were unable to accommodate my request, so they returned my application fee in full. Every school has a different policy. Call them to find out what their policy regarding this matter is.

i was told that my deposits were non-refundable

From the Mayo Website:

Application Fees for International Students
Once you have completed your application and are ready to submit it, you will be prompted to complete the on-line application fee process (credit cards accepted). There is an application fee of $350 (nonrefundable) for international medical students applying to the Visiting Clerkship Program only. Applications will not be processed until the application fee is paid.
