My app was mailed in the 7/2 batch, now it's mid october and i still haven't heard from many of the schools that i applied to. Is it still early? Schools like USC look like they are done predec, but schools like VCU and Kentucky have barely filled their November interview, do i still got chances at these schools?

which schools did you apply to? ... many schools have only started sending out interview invites whereas others have booked all of their pre-dec interview slots... but that doesn't mean they are done interviewing either nor does it mean that you don't have a shot if you get a post-dec interview

It really depends on what schools you have applied to. Schools like case western are hopeless for pre-dec, but others like BU, NYU etc are probably still very much open for pre-dec interviews. 🙂
