October 15th Acceptance Thread

I interviewed at Rochester 9/10 and GWU 9/21. I think people with those dates have gotten acceptances. VCU was 9/12 and Gtown was 9/20. I would expect to hear from any of those this week.

Don't cry yet! They'd almost certainly be wasted tears. If you can't hold off until the end of the week, at least try to give it until Tues or Wed this week. I'm sure it's really really really hard, but try to keep the faith. I'm sure you'll get into several schools and have options. I just hope for the sake of your sanity that the acceptances come this week rather than next! And although it must feel devastating not to have an acceptance in hand at 2:48pm on 10/15, when you get it, it will be just as wonderful. SDN is evil, no?

i will try and wait. SDN is definitely evil. I probably would have been rational about the whole thing if I hadn't seen others get accepted.

Dont worry-VCU acceptances don't go out till 603pm ET tonight, so if anyone has heard so far, it's just the MD/PhD students.
 
Got the acceptance call from Jefferson at about 1pm PST today. She mentioned snail mail was being sent, but would take a couple of weeks. I interviewed 10/3.

I'm with you, Jolie -- everything I keep seeing on SDN is driving me crazy/making me paranoid. I'm sure you'll get in soon, though. You're an SDN superstar.

You want to cry after 11 interviews and already having an acceptance? Because you haven't gotten other acceptances on technically the first day possible? With your logic I should have killed myself already.

Edit: I just saw you received your acceptance after you posted above so I was incorrect. But still, I'd say this process has done right by you and you have no reason to cry.

i was pissed because FIVE schools I interviewed at had, at that particular point in time, not offered me an acceptance and other people that interviewed at the same time received them.
 
Another Jeffersonian over here. Got the call at 4.30PM from Dr. C 😀

SO I got a call from upstate around 11:30 am (Cali time) and I didn't answer it because I was tutoring my students. It didn't have a number so i waited for them to leave a message. I had a gut feeling though. But, once I was doen wiht stupid tutoring, their office was closed and I have to call back tomorrow. Please tell me they ONLY CALL for ACCEPTANCES. I can't bear to have them tell me I'm waitlisted.....I interviewed on 9/17:scared:

got into NJMS today


yahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont know if i am going there but LOVED the school and now i know that i will be a DOCTOR!!!!
 
I got the call from Dr. C at Jefferson yesterday and Dr. H at NJMS today. 😀
Time to start planning trips for the year before hell starts!
Congrats to all, we deserve it!!!
 
Called SUNY Upstate and found out i'm in! Maybe I'll see some of you guys next fall! :hardy:

When did you interview? I just called and was told I was still under review, but I interviewed the second day of interviews. This doesn't look good for me.
