I'm watching the phone. Hoping Loyola calls. (I've heard they called some people last year).

Regardless, I'm ecstatic over my GWU acceptance (6:26am CST email this morning), and if that's it, I'm absolutely, positively THRILLED to be going to GWU!

Congrats on the GWU acceptance! Do you mind me asking what day you interviewed at GWU? I interviewed there in mid september and was just wondering if you were there before or after me.

I think it would be beneficial for those who have acceptances to mention what day they interviewed. I certainly would appreciate it.

Hope I could celebrate with you guys, but it's not my time yet. I haven't even gotten any interviews yet (submitted apps end of September). But I'm keeping my hopes up.
 
phoenix interviewed 9/14...(sorry to seem stalkerish, i just saw it on her mdapps, haha!)

i interviewed on 9/13...and have gotten nothing yet 🙁
 
Anyone know how Drexel notifies people? It will only have been 2 weeks today for me, but still, the suspense is killing me!

the school that i interviewed at back in august said that they will snail mail letters after oct 15 and we should get them by the end of october...they said the decision would be made way before that like in early september though...so do you think its ok to call them and see?!
 
Congrats guys on the Tufts acceptances. You both have amazing profiles and will have many more offers to come, but I hope you do continue to keep Tufts in mind- it's really a great place. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the school.

Do you have any link to Texas or are you completely OOS??? The reason I ask I was born and raised there but am a GA resident now (applying next year)... Congrats!

Yeah, no kidding right? Its 4 for me, but still...I need to find creative ways to kill time so I don't go crazy waiting...any ideas?
 
Does anyone on here live in Philly and feel the need to celebrate getting in to med school today? I just moved here recently and don't know a lot of people who don't have class on monday nights...so I thought i'd see if anyone on here planned to hit happy hour? Either in center city (preferably) or south philly? even university city if you have a prefered place, i'm flexible!! Someone celebrate with me!!!!
 
Congrats everyone! I know how great it feels to get accepted....and it must be awesome to have it happen so early.

i think ill be making a big steak dinner with a nice bottle of champagne and relax w/my family (fiance and 2 dogs😛)

Miami, which is my first choice. What a difference a year makes. I saw the worst of this rolling process last year, and now I see the best of it!

I'm sure you'll hear back soon. And you can't count schools that you interviewed at recently (i.e., GWU). You can't read anything into this if you weren't interviewing around the same date as those who have received news. Know what I mean? Don't drive yourself crazy for nothing. So, if you discount those, where are you at? Who do you expect to hear from this week?
 
Just got my official acceptance from SLU! They actually called me about a month ago (I was on the waiting list last year), but I got an e-mail from them this morning and it feels so much more real now. Woooo!
