Hey,

The eye muscles are driving me crazy. In FA 2017 a diagram shows that superior oblique adducts, depresses and intorts. But before this diagram, they state that "The superior oblique abducts, intorts and depresses while adducted".

I don't get it; how is it an abduction when it according to the diagram is showing an adduction? Even the other oblique muscle, the inferior, confuses me 🙁
 
Wikipedia actually has a wonderful articles about eye movements and great pictures showing the insertion sites. I encourage you to take a look. Search "eye movements". It also has links to each of the muscles that tells you their function.
