anyone have an idea?

i heard the general # is 1 out of 3 or 4 people who get interviews get into the school... in general.. but it's really different for each school...

anyone know the # for UCLA?
And also... since i've made it to the interview process, I assume being an out-of-stater won't be a negative factor, right?
I will be reviewed equally w/ the CA residents?

I hope i get some replies...
thanks~
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!

39% acceptance rate for interviews both instate and out of state.

The ratio varies from school to school. Doesn't the AAMC publish a book on the stats from each school? They used to publish number of applicants, number interviewed, and number accepted.

When I went to Hopkins, I think they interviewed around 700 and accepted about 200 to fill a class of 120. Thus, it should be pretty close to 1:3 or 1:4.

Good luck.

Ooh, ooh! I can answer this! Pick me!

Odds of acceptance:

If you have a great interview (and they like you): 100%

If you have a lousy interview (and they hate you): 0%

Hope I helped!

Seriously, good luck, Eunice!
