Well guys, I have had this paranoid fear that Ohio State was going to realize they accepted the wrong person and so have procrastinated declining my Kansas waitlist position. I actually started writing my email today, and Kansas State called and offered me a position! 🙂

Don't worry, I gratefully said I was honored, and thanks, but no thanks. Oops! That was hard. I didn't know calls would happen so soon. Just letting everyone know! You may be getting a call!

i've been watching the forum for months hoping that by some chance OSU's list would start moving even though i knew it wouldn't until today but at least it finally started!🙂

I still have my fingers crossed that Cornell will have the same situation as they did last year and make it all through their waitlist and move on to rejected applicants 🙄

eee congrats! my psychosis is getting too hard to handle...and get this...today, of all days, i am locked out of my house and MY PHONE IS IN MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Welp, its official, I have sent in my decline to UTK and will be heading to Western!!! It was the toughest decision ever! I hope someone waiting for an OOS spot hears something great soon!! 🙂
 
I got a call from KSU this morning offering a seat, I fell in love so much with the school it was so hard saying no. Stupid Davis being my in state school.

This is so exciting!! Just an FYI/reminder for those on the Minnesota and/or Michigan waitlists... I emailed the admissions dept. at Minnesota and they said they won't get things figured out in terms of updated alternate status for a few weeks (but that was last week when they told me that). Also, Michigan says they won't start notifying people until May 1st.

Just a heads up....

Western is having their giant open house for all of the boy and girlscouts of the area on Saturday. This event entails most of the facilitators and staff (including admissions and the dean). So don't be surprised if you don't hear anything til next as the campus is going to be over run by a bunch of children on Saturday.

I hope you all hear sooner though!

I missed the call and got a voicemail late yesterday afternoon because I was in an area with not-so-great reception. I just called now to check office hours (didn't expect people to be in before 8) but they were. 😀

There's hopefully bound to be someone who changes their mind or gets an offer off another waitlist. Life happens, so maybe something will come up and someone will defer, etc. We'll all keep crossing our fingers for you, how very very frustrating!!!! :xf::xf::xf:
