So I wanted to start a new thread of something fun that is not related to pharmacy. I've got Spring fever now that it is starting to warm up and I am thinking about summer movies. I am a huge movie buff and every summer I scope out the list of movies and plan for the ones I want to see. 😀 Crazy, I know.....

Last summer was some what of a dissapointment. I think I only went to the movies once of twice. What movie(s) is everyone looking forward to seeing this summer before classes start?

I'll go first. I am on pins and needles 😱 (Ouch!!) waiting for Star Trek to open. I am seriously in Star Trek withdrawal since the last show went off the air. Every couple of weeks I watch the trailers looking for clues to the movie. I am also looking forward to seeing Christian Bale 😍 in Terminator and Transformers looks good.

For a non geek film, The Soloist looks good. I love Jamie Foxx's movies.

I want to buy the Watchmen movie whenever it comes out on video. That's pretty high priority right now.

My brother and I are dragging out girlfriends to watch Star Trek together. It's gonna be geektastic.

I've heard X-Men was leaked out to the internet.

I think it has been leaked....but I want the full theater experience! I'll fight the urge to watch the bootleg lol

According to the news, the bootleg is not a completed version; it's missing a lot of the special effects and dialogue.

I heard the same thing. I'd rather see it in the theater. I really want to see X-Men, but I don't want to go and be dissapointed. The other movies were good, but I didn't enjoy them as much because they were so far from the comic book. Plus Wolverine has always been my favorite X-Man and I don't want to see the movie and get all pissed if the movie is no where new the original Wolverine story. I'll probably get sucked in and see it anyway.

actually i am looking forward to watching angels and demons. It looks awesome even though the da vinci code kinda sucked but hopefully this one will be better!

There's a whole bunch of guys from my work (myself included) who have May 8th booked off to go see Star Trek. We did the same thing when Quantum of Solace came out. But yeah, all the typical action blowing-things-up movies before school starts.
