Official 08/05 mailing date!

I had a mailing date of 8/5 but I didn't take the DAT until the 12th so I haven't heard anything regarding interviews yet. But at least now there's a thread started for us! I've heard at least something from all the schools I applied to except USC and Michigan (they both have taken my money though of course...)

USC cashed my cheque loooooooong time ago but nothing...
I sent supplemental material for Penn but nothing.. not even a cashed cheque
 
Is everyone done with their secondaries here? Now I m worried cause I m still filling them out 🙁

I applied to Michigan, Pacific, USC, UNLV, OHSU (I'm an Oregon resident), Midwestern AZ, UNC, Marquette, and Colorado.

I've submitted all the supplemental apps that were provided beforehand, or given to me later on; UNLV and UNC at same time as AADSAS, and Midwestern after AADSAS. UNC told me to fax my unofficial DAT scores, so even though my scores haven't been received by AADSAS, UNC says "recevied/under review" while the other schools have me as "recevied/waiting for scores". So that's where I am at!!

yoh I'm on the 8/12 mailing batch but I'm gonna join the party here! Did UNLV cash your check? UNLV hasn't cashed mine yet, I called and no one answered, I'm afraid that my 2ndary app and fee got lost.

My app was mailed 8/5 too and I've got two interviews so far:

Midwestern AZ 11/28 and Case Western Reserve 12/14
 
just got an interview for BU on oct. 7! Stoked!

Hey I have the same mailing date! When did you finish Midwestern's secondary if you don't mind me asking?
 
When people talk about mailing date, is that the date your application was mailed, or the date your last thing was mailed? My app mailed in late July, but my last evaluation didn't go out until August 12th. So which one is my mailing date?

finished 2ndary on 8/15 afternoon and I was able to schedule an interview on 8/16, very weird.

I submitted my AADSAS on 7/21, and sent in the secondary & app fee on July 25. The check was cashed on 8/5 (the same date my application was actually mailed out)....maybe try calling again? Or email them maybe? I emailed with a few questions awhile back and they were super helpful.

That is kinda weird. You must have a great app. It's actually good you brought this up. As it turns out, Midwestern made a mistake and didn't post one of my letters. As a result, my app wasn't considered complete until yesterday instead of the 13th when I finished the secondary 🙁 Bleh....

Generally people assume your "mailing date" has everything in it. So, really, it's more accurate to say 'application complete date,' since they're waiting for that last document before they review you.
 
I had an 8/05 mailing date, too. I haven't gotten anything yet. I'm still waiting on secondaries from UCLA and Temple also.
 
anyone else get an email from indiana saying they want fall grades before they can give an interview??? 😕😡🙁

I've heard of it, and I got the same thing from Case. I haven't taken it to be a good omen...

Depend on which schools. It's not too late for schools like USC or Tufts.

I have a "hold" from case pending fall grades. anyone heard from any other schools recently? anyone in this batch applied to WesternU or UoP? those are my top choices that have given out interviews.

Why do you say that?

I plan on adding schools as well, but wasn't sure if it was worth it.

What type of schools would you recommend not applying to (I guess an example is like UofP...) or what schools would you think applying even at this later date is ok?

I just look at # of interviews given out by the schools on predents. It doesn't seem like Tufts and USC started evaluating the applicants yet. Where as schools like Midwestern, Case and Nova already gave out a bunch of interviews, u'll most likely get post dec interviews, even waitlist interviews at this point.
If you have strong stats just go ahead and add UoP. at the moment, it seems like they're only offering interviews to people with great stats and/or connection to the school.
 
did Tufts cash anyone's check yet? I sent it in 2 weeks ago, and nothing. I just want to know that they've got my check, but they don't want anyone to call, apparently.

Got an interview at detroit mercy on Monday this week...my aadsas status changed to invited for interview
 
Just received first invitation at LECOM by e-mail!

Same here. Haven't heard anything either. My theory is, post -Dec interview? Maybe?

I got my app complete email from Case on Aug 29, received an interview from Case the day after. Earliest date I could book was Dec 1, then Dec 16, then sometime in January, unfortunately, so it looks like Case is heavily booked through the end of the year.
 
anyone hear from michigan, tufts, nyu, boston, uic, or siu from this batch?
 
Just got a call today for an interview at University of the Pacific! So happy. Granted it's in January, but hey I'll take it!!

I received an interview invite from NYU on 10/3. Case a couple weeks later, and OSU today...

GPA 3.32
sGPA 3.19
DAT (AA/TS/PAT) 21/21/19
