i hope to be getting in on these lists sometime soon too... it seems like everyone besides me has gotten into their dream school already. i thought i had a strong application and decent interviews too... can't figure it out. 😕

hey i just found out about this site today...maybe you guys could help with my decision. I've been accepted to Maryland, Case, UNLV, and Nova and I'm expecting to be accepted to Loma Linda pretty soon. I'm leaning towards Maryland because of the reputation and strong research emphasis, but I'd love to live in Florida. UNLV is appealing because it's close to home (Utah). It's a good position to be in but it's a tough decision 👍
 
Hey, everyone whose been accepted congratulations! I'll be adding my name to Pacific. For everyone else, keep your spirits up, most schools accept several in march and april. Just to keep some of your spirits up, you don't have to have flawless scores to get into a great school , I actually made got UOP's notice on 12/1/04 and my gpa isn't stellar.

still am, until i get accepted to (or rejected from) the schools i'm still waiting for 😳 i guess i am just frusterated that there are questions that i and others have given a long, thoughtful answer to like 4 times, and yet someone inevitably pops up and asks the exact same question a week later. or how there can be two of the same question in two separate threads just a few hours apart. what's so hard about a search? or keeping all the 'what are my chances' in the same thread?

still am, until i get accepted to (or rejected from) the schools i'm still waiting for 😳 i guess i am just frusterated that there are questions that i and others have given a long, thoughtful answer to like 4 times, and yet someone inevitably pops up and asks the exact same question a week later. or how there can be two of the same question in two separate threads just a few hours apart. what's so hard about a search? or keeping all the 'what are my chances' in the same thread?

Honestly Biogirl, you sound very childish in the fact that you are whinning about not getting into you're dream school. I think you're looking at you're situation all wrong, you should be happy that you're full filling you're dream of becoming a dentist.

that's easy for you to say, since you didn't have a strong enough application to get in at all the first time. there's nothing wrong with really wanting to go to one school that you feel fits you better than the others in every way, especially after working so hard for 4 years to have good grades and experience and things. besides, i wasn't complaining in that post, just pointing out that I'm still very interested in the pre-dental forum! lighten up!

you'll get into UMich - damn holidays made the whole waiting thing so long, I think schools will get in touch with applicants pretty quick in these last few coming months.
