Same to you Ripal!
Thanks a lot BBBMD! I´m sure it would be great to have you there as faculty!

Congrats to all that matched. I can say as a soon to graduate senior PM&R resident that it is a great field and you will have many avenues to explore and find a niche for yourselves within the specialty, and most importantly you will really be able to help your patients.

To those that did not match, don't fret. Keep up the pursuit if that is what you want.

Congratulations to all of you.

Welcome to the field.

And a special welcome to Sohalia to RIC. let me know if you need anything (i.e. housing help, etc.)

looks like SDN was a goodluck charm again to many of you!! :luck:

Please stay on SDN and share your wisdom. I will be updating the SDN resident roster in the coming weeks...

Can I print out business cards for you, "Ligament, blank specialist?" That may be my graduation gift to you.

Welcome to Jeff Rehab!

anyone know which sites list where med students are going from medical schools from this year's match, or is it too soon.

Cornell/Columbia - NYP !!!!!! My number 1 choice!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to all! May the fun begin. 😍

OK people...the NRMP reported over 300 people matching into PM&R this year and we have only 15 people reporting where they matched....WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYBODY?

I know we've all been partying for the past few days and have been getting over our hangovers...but I also know this thread has been viewed almost 1500 times since Thursday.

If you haven't already reported where you have matched, take a second and allow everyone to share your glory. Another more important point is that for most of us, we won't be starting our programs until 2007 (as PGY-2s) so this gives us an opportunity to meet our future co-residents.

GO UCLA! 😍 ...Gonzaga is next to be shot down... we're going all the way this year baby! (although I have to say...after this year's Match Day at my med school...the term March Madness has really taken on new meaning for me)

The Alliance, anyone else there?

University of Michigan. My #1. Back home to the Midwest, I've been sweating down here in TX long enough.

Parmed, save a spot for me in line at Geno's and Pat's cause I'll be seeing you at Jefferson in '07 😎

Welcome to Jeff as well.

Hey Acolyte28,

Sounds like you know Philly -- it'll be my first time in Philadelphia, but when I figure out where Geno's and Pat's are, I'll be happy to save you a spot in line!

congrats on the great match and looking forward to meeting you soon! 🙂

My liver, I believe, is back to normal so I'll throw my match results into the mix...

Transitional: Riverside Methodist Columbus, OH
PM&R: Virginia Commonwealth!

I'm so excited to get out of dreary Toledo and Dr. Cifu and the rest of the faculty are great. Very well-rounded and resident friendly!

Thanks to all the residents I met along the way that helped me out! (you know who you are!)

Hey pmr tx ms, do you mean the UT/Baylor alliance; if so, congrats; that would make 3 of us: Ripal, you, and myself!

Hey DistantMets,

I matched at VCU as well, so I'll see you there in July 2007! Cifu and McKinley have a great department and program, and I think we'll have a lot of fun there too. Shoot me a PM if you have a chance!

Preliminary Medicine: Carilion UVA-Salem/Roanoke
PM&R: VCU/MCV

NYU here I come!!! Not my top choice but I am thrilled anyway. I am a bit timid about the "malignancy" comments around these neck of the woods. I still don't really have a clear picture of what that means for this program. Nonetheless, my wife and I are excited about our little adventure.

Congrats to everyone out there that matched and for those of you who didn't, keep your heads up and your heart focused on what you really want. If PM&R is what you WANT, go for it again. I didn't match last year and all turned out great this year.

University of Michigan 😀

hopefully my vacation time won't go by too fast... hopefully my transitional year will

can't wait to start at U of M
