Just got home and found the Columbia acceptance letter in the mail! (I live in the midwest...)
I also live in the midwest, but in a small town....hopefully tomorrow

I wouldn't worry dmargul; the mail is notoriously unreliable--I was in Philadelphia at the time and people in Boston found out before me. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
empty as well......ugh
watch me not get a single acceptance this year
Also I haven't shaved since my last interview
Has anyone heard from UCSD for the "regular round" people? (aka those who were supposed to find out last week)
I am assuming not hearing anything from Columbia means an mstp rejection...although regular mail (rejections) should have come by now
We should all receive something by friday
Has anyone heard from Tufts since that last email? I'm very confused about my status. I want to know when the second visit is (and whether or not I'm invited) so that I can make up my mind about where I'm going!

Columbia! will likely withdraw pending other acceptances
dated the 24th, but when did you get it?

Anyone waiting to hear from Hopkins tomorrow?
Anyone waiting to hear from Hopkins tomorrow?
What happens tomorrow? (Seems like Hopkins has already started accepting ppl...)
For people that interviewed after the first batch of acceptances in January. At least thats what I was told during the interview.
How about the people who know that they were accepted but are no yet aware of their funding situation?
Ugh, I called the Columbia foks as well. The nice lady at the MSTP office forwarded me to the general admissions office... and those guys said they just finished sending everything out today. ok... I thought everything was sent on the 24th?????????
The admissions office said they can't give decisions over the phone for another week and the MSTP office said that Dr. Spitalnik is out for the day so they can't tell me either.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be volunteering in Honduras over spring break so I guess I have to wait for another week before I hear back. Ugh, i may just give my mailbox key to a friend and have him check and email me if I get anything.
Doesn't everyone get the same funding deal?
Anyone hear from Hopkins today? I thought that everyone who interviewed after the January notifications were suppose to find out yesterday or today?
No, they offer acceptances to around 30 people I believe, but only 15 get funding. The other 15 have to either pay for the med school or find funding from elsewhere.

Wow. That's kind of lame. Honestly, how do they get people to fill those spots? If you're getting accepted at Hopkins, you've probably got another top 10 or top 20 acceptance in hand, one that will actually give you funding.
