Anyone who received interview this early...are any of you IMG's or FMG's?

It does not matter if you are an FMG or AMG. If you have applied to these programs and haven't received an interview yet, unfortunately you missed the bus!

Good luck! I am an FMG as well so I know the pain!

As is stated several places elsewhere, that's not true.

Wouldn't they have sent an "I'm so sorry you suck" email? lmao

EVERY program can't be silent! How rude haha

Wait I forgot life isn't fair!

Got two invites today!

Columbia NYPH 7/30
U Pittsburgh 7/30

All the best for all and congratulations for who received interviews.
I might need to agree the fact, it won't be an issue whether we are an IMG or AMG. If we don't have interview by now means we might have missed them. I really wish they will send a sorry email, so we will live peacefully with a new fact instead of an assumption (thats also a fact though. Zero chance vs < 0.00001% chance).

Although I can understand why delusions and conspiracy theories may begin to surface at this point, it's still very early, so no need to fret. July 31/Aug 31 is the application deadline for many programs. I'm sure there are many programs that are still compiling their list of potential interview candidates, unless I'm completely wrong. As PC mentioned in his Q&A, it tends to be a rolling process and although you may not have made the first cut, you may be considered for interviews later. Let the panic and paranoia seep in if you have not received any invitations by end of Oct.

Interesting to see how many people are freaking out with 'no news (either good or bad)', at the end of July. Big boys don't whine, and you guys are like overachievers in prep school. You did prepare for applications and submitted. It's cooking now. Forget about this **** and watch ballgame or do something more productive.

Guys how worried should I be if I haven't gotten a single interview yet - starting to panic a little 🙂

What dose it mean when Washington university send you msg to change your PS to specific one meeting their requirements?

There is nothing on the WUSTL website regarding personal statement requirements; I would email the program coordinator (Ava Ysaguirre [email protected]) and ask for clarification.

go to their website for further instructions. they have specific questions they would like answered in their ps

Correct. WU in Seattle, I think they send those kind of msgs out to potential candidates for interviews.

WU is in St. Louis.
UW is in Seattle.

They probably want you to write a personal statement that explains that you know the name and location of the program you're applying to.

lol, it would be funny and unfortunate if he inadvertently professed his love for the great city of St. Louis in his personal statement to UW.

I would not read too much into this, but feel free

2 questions:

1) Anyone know if a California letter is required before interviews in California are considered? and...

2) What's FML?

aww, funny and sad at the same time,

on a different note, i never thought i would actually look forward to the weekday, but might as well enjoy the few weekends we have left.

Has anybody had their application downloaded by usc or cal pacific yet? I'm starting to worry that there might be an issue, and whether I need to contact them at this point. Thanks!

you better, dude!👍

Well no emails yet ... getting more worrisome by the day. I thought I was a decent candidate but I guess i stand corrected.

Got invited to NYP-Columbia this morning, a full week after the first round of interview invites went out, so to all those who said that not getting an interview the first day was "missing the bus," I have verifiable proof that that is not the case.
