I know people from school that have far lower DAT, GPA, EC, basically everything than I do..... and they got accepted at schools I got rejected without interviews at.

Theres really nothing set in stone, I hope you get accepted though you have good stats!

I mean yeah, my stats are nowhere near spectacular due to my uGPA but how did I get pushed out by someone with a 13 OC...mind boggling.

I understand, my uGPA isn't good either, but we can't jump to conclusions about other applicants solely due to stats.

Probably because of your entitlement issues. Good GPA/DAT scores doesn't equal interview/acceptance.

Interviewed there last week and it sounds like they may have a few still in February. Admissions said that they were going to send out a few instate acceptances last week but the majority of there second round of acceptances will be later this week or early next week.

Don't get me wrong. I know I'm blessed since I will have somewhere to attend this fall. I'm just bummed out I got sidelined at my obvious top choice, that's all. Peace.

Official rejection from Michigan, no interview - they wouldn't accept my application because one of my two science recommendation letters was from my research PI, and not a "professor with which I had a 3 credit class". I'm sure a teacher in a big lecture would know me better than my research prof who I'm published with...
