Before the rejection email, did you get their application status reminder email "If you have not received a status update from our office regarding an offer of admission or a decision to deny, then no decision has been finalized on your application and you are still under consideration"?
 
Well I think I may be done getting any more news at this point. So for those wondering.

Accepted: Loma Linda, University of the Pacific, University of Utah, and Columbia

Wait listed: Midwestern Az and Roseman.

Rejected: Harvard

Turned down UCSF, Western, USC, and Vegas for interview invites.

My stats were a 24aa on the DAT and 3.93 overall and science GPA.

I will be attending Loma Linda.

Nope! My last email from them was a confirmation of my interview and silence from December 1st until yesterday. Maybe you're on the waitlist?
 
Did anyone recieve an email from USC saying they are still under consideration? I haven't recieved anything post-interview

Do you know if Loma Linda gives out more interviews post-dec? It's one of my top schools and I live in Riverside county. Hopeful I hear something soon! And congrats on all your acceptances!

I'm sure they will. Lots of people will end up turning them down, I'd be shocked if not.

Super late posting my acceptances because Ive been busy celebrating the last 10 days 🙂

Yes I have a lower gpa but I was able to get accepted to 3 dental schools! Creighton, UNMC, and Midwestern-AZ. Really love all 3 but ultimately I will attend UNMC. Go HUSKERS!

undergrad GPA: 3.1

DAT: AA21
2 years work experience in dental lab
1 year neuroscience research lab work


This was my second time applying and I applied early. If anyone else is struggling to overcome a low GPA I recommend doing well in a SMP, working in the field either as an assistant or dental lab tech, and building strong relationships with dentists in your community.

I retook my DAT in November and as soon as they got the scores they sent me the supplement and a day later interview. It was on hold before.

Wow that's nice..I submitted my supplemental like 2 months ago and haven't heard anything yet..sigh 😡
