LizzyM 68 (65 if you average my MCAT attempts):
- Applied to many MD schools
- 7 II (listed on my MDApps)
- Attended two so far, with two more coming this next week on consecutive days

Have someone else proof read your stuff. That makes a huge difference too. Other people catch mistakes you would never see

I feel that maybe my community service...or nearly complete lack of may come back to bite me in the butt this cycle (praying it doesn't!)...Looking to secure something throughout the remainder of this year/the next...But nothing as really jumped out at me yet! 🙁 Plus my overnight ER hours make scheduling a nightmare.

I had to check my hold status for GWU and was wondering if I was required to do the same for the others.
If you get an II they will email you, even if it is delayed like for Drexel
+1, although GW does email for II.
@Romz I got emails for 3/4 IIs, so as annoying as it is checking portals can be worth it!!
I take it back. VCU *just* emailed me. But I think I've been on hold for at least a week.

Completed five interviews already and hoping to hear back from at least three of them by the end of this month!

I feel blessed to have 4 II, but it's still October, so im obviously hoping for more!
Ive only completed one interview so far, probably wont know the outcome until sometime in November.

8 MD IIs, 4 DO IIS (I am only going to attend the DO interview near my home since I need to save the money and I didn't expect all these MD IIs), 2 MD rejections.
I applied to 3 Florida public schools (OOS) and got interviews at all 3, but received 1 rejection and silence from my state schools -_- Shout out for Florida for the love.

I was complete mid August to early September and haven't heard anything positive yet. Two (expected) rejections and one hold.

hahaDo you mind if I ask when you were complete for Boston and Georgetown? I was complete late July to mid-August (a last letter came in August so some schools started reviewing and some haven't) and this four month silence (four months...
) is becoming worrisome.

I've found the best way to deal with stress is to buy new suits/shoes/ties/watches in anticipation of the many interviews you'll no doubt have to attend.
Coincidentally, this backfires and induces other stress when your debit card subsequently declines at Taco Bell.

The fact people with similar stats to mine who are complete much later than me are getting II to schools I applied to while I'm still "under review" is slightly unnerving I can't lie.
I guess you didnt like my previous idea about your avatar picture?
Oh trust me, I considered it heavily. But I'm pretty sure that they might reject me once they realize I'm a dog!
