(250/264/AOA/passed CS etc.)
For the bottom line, I would assume. Not sure why programs wait for MSPE tho, those things are so generic...feel like the dept/chair letters are more important.
Can one assume that getting interviews before october/mspe suggests:
1) They really like you/your app
or
2) They're not a competitive program and they need lots of interviews to secure that they match as much as they can?
After getting an invite and replying by picking top dates you prefer for interviewing, how long does it take to usually hear back from programs?
I'm sure it's program specific, but just wanted to know how long it roughly takes to confirm the date.
Good humblebrag brahThe programs that I got early invites from were all mid tier places trying to score top tier applicants.
So...I'm getting a little worried now. I've gotten 2 interviews (Scripps and Mayo Rochester on 9/19) thus far and nothing since. Looks like people have heard back from Duke, Mt. Sinai, UCSF and UCSD. I thought i was decently competitive 240/259/AOA/GHHS + decent activities. Should I really not worry until after Oct 1? Also I am not taking CS until Nov., do programs really need to see a pass right now or is later ok?
