I honestly hope silence doesnt mean rejection for all the 7schools im waiting to hear from!

Anyone has any experience from past years?
 
Hey! we did our best! there is still time!! all we have now is to think positive. I'm certain my grades are quantifiable (please God). I know it hurts that we are not getting responses. But look at us, a bunch of over qualified individuals in a a system that statistically is not in our favor.. keep your heads up. Thats all I/m trying to do. Its what I got
 
My scores just got uploaded on AADSAS. Should I contact schools to ask for updates and my scores status?

It take 1-2 days for the schools to receive your scores. Despite it being uploaded to AADSAS just now, the schools wouldn't have it yet. It would be available to them most likely tomorrow

Man like I've been saying no one knows how this cycle works. I have stats lower than you guys (3.66,20AA, outstanding EC's) and got two interviews .. when did you guys submit? I am definitely quite late of an applicant but I'm sure if you guys submitted rather late-ish (August and up) you shouldn't be too badly worried.
 
Is it likely that no further interview offers will be given after December 1?? That's the sense I am getting 😵

Yeah, no one knows how this process works except adcoms. I submitted mid August, so not exactly late for OOS schools.

Trust me! I just started seeing those with app completes in August get some invites and it wasn't until recently! So don't feel bad because we are kind of on the later end of the spectrum. I'm sure We will hear back more often as we progress into the cycle.

I know it's been so stressful! But congrats on your interview! And I applied in July but my DAT wasn't verified and updated until mid August! How about you?

I did not send an update...when I had interviews the last time I applied, I sent updates when they specifically asked for them. Are we supposed to when we get an interview invitation? lol

No no, I was just asking because I am waiting to hear from them and was wondering if I could possibly email them to ask about an update or write a letter of intent.

Congrats! I interviewed there last month; it was really chill and conversational! The facilities were totally brand new, and the environment seems really welcoming. 🙂

I can't wait! So question...I'm pretty sure this girl I know is faking about applying to dental school. She is crazy and a pathological liar and she has been posting about taking her DAT (same exact day as me, hmm what a coincidence!) and posting things like, omg got the best letter of rec from my old dentist boss!! and she even posted a screenshot of her email invite for an interview (name conveniently cropped out) and the e-mail wording was completely different than mine lol.

Moral of the story is...she just posted on fb (on October 21st) about her interview, saying she was the first group to interview and they got fitted for white coats and everything!!! you said you interviewed last month so this has to be total BS right? *insert laughing crying emoji here* she is crazy pants. Who goes that far in a lie!!

I wouldn't be so concerned about other people. People go through problems, and at some point we have all lied to save our pride/out of embarrassment. Be kind, move on.

I wasn't unkind to her....??

I believed her and congratulated until I got an invite to that school and everything was completely different than my invite and then I saw this person's post.

How is this affecting your life? Is this such a slap in the face to you that you need to come here and tell us all about your *laughing crying emoji - that's kind of cruel. Be happy with your invite and stop worrying about her.

Excited to go to Minneapolis! If anyone knows the city well, please give some advice on how to navigate for a visitor.

Applied to a couple schools, but seriously waiting for the University of Detroit Mercy... letta sista get an interview plz.
