bump, just wondering if this is what people are talking about that is suppose to change the monday before. Test date was late june, so not surprised if i have to wait longer, but based on the "late june, release 7/13" thing on website i was kind of hopeful

I'm not sure because it seems some of us have different links on our screens based on several factors such as actual test date or eligibility period. For instance, I took my exam in June (in the 2nd half of the month), and my screen says "scheduling is not available." People are saying this is supposed to happen the Monday before scores are released, but mine has said "scheduling not available" since the beginning of July. Since I haven't gotten my score yet either, I think my permit link disappeared because my eligibility period expired June 30th.

If I'm looking at the right page, mine says "Action Required: USMLE Step 1 exam scheduled. Print your Scheduling Permit to bring to the test center."

thats the same thing its always said though..

With there being less questions in the new step 1 format, are the question stems longer (more information)? Are they harder (more tertiary questions)? Is it just the same question style with more time?

I know this is hard to answer since probably no one has taken both forms but just curious what the rumored differences are.

Based on my experience, the questions were pretty similar to NBME's and shorter than UW.

my scheduling permit has disappear but the link for extending my eligibilty period is still there, is anyone who is eligibilty period end 31 july or after that has the same situation? I am freaking out , I can't stop thinking that if they are allowing me to extend my eligibilty period then maybe I failed

Both my scheduling permit link as well my extension of the eligibility period are both available to me right now (my eligibility ends July 31 like you). BUT i took my exam June 30, so I doubt i will be getting my score this wed.

Ikr for some reason I feel the same way... Wasn't tired or feeling horrible at the end.

Yes, this is what mine used to say before my eligibility expired. I assume your eligibility period hasn't expired yet?

is this what you're seeing? I took mine on June 24, and my eligibility period ends in July 31. kind of freaking out that I can start a new application for all exams, including Step 1...

Yeah, mine says the same thing. I just don't think they would go to the effort of giving us a specific day for scores to be released, only to release them a day early though. Of course, I could be proved wrong very soon...

This is like getting a shot at the doctor's office as a kid and they're prepping you and you're just staring at that needle and you know that it's staring back, knowing what's about to go down.

Wow, I see the same thing "available until"

But wouldn't they send out emails the morning of the score release saying we'd be getting our scores that day?

I just checked mine and I have the same changes. It's funny. I bet they change things a little just to see us go crazy on the message boards. I wonder if they are preparing it to release at midnight???

No idea. Does the score available with no pdf usually pop up prior to score release or is this something new?

These kind of mass changes lead me to believe they set it to release outside hours of operation. I might be reading tea leaves though. It'll be 10:30A tomorrow and one of the words will be in bold and I will think they the results will be there within 30s. It's funny. If I were them I would get a kick out of it.

Just got the email saying my score will be released at 5 pm today, went on to say that they were releasing them in waves so they don't crash the servers
