Call aadsas to have them make your scores official. They just made them official when I was on the phone with them, they had my scores.

How do I know whether or not AADSAS has my DAT scores? I took it last summer and chose to send it out to all the schools, and I gave AADSAS my DENTPIN and manually entered my scores. How do I check if they have verified my scores or not?

It'll be under DAT. But since you didn't designate schools when you registered it's gonna be like $30 a school to send the scores too.

I just went on the ADA website and found under the "Account Summary" and on the "transaction details," it has a list named "Accredited institutions receiving scores...." Is that it? Since I took the DAT half a year ago I don't remember a thing.. But I do remember reading "you can always change schools" on this page. I'm freaking out because I already e-submitted 99 dollars for all 21 schools and I might have to pay $36 for all of them each.
 
I also had another question: on the AADSAS, two of my schools are saying "on hold." Do you know what that means? I didn't get any email saying anything was missing, so should I call them to find out?

that will tell you who which schools received the scores if you designated them. If you did not designate then you got pay per school.

My GPA and DAT are 3.55 oGPA and 20 AA + hundreds of shadowing hours (~500hrs). Is there any hope to be accepted from any school on the east coast? If not, how high should my DAT score be? I will take the other one on July. Please give me a realistic advice. Thanks.

Hey! I understand where you're coming from, as I've been anxious about my chances of admission as well. I honestly think you stand a great chance on the east coast.What is your DAT breakdown for each section? And schools on the east coast vary in their statistics, so which ones are you looking at?

Can someone help out I'm a little confused. Some of the schools that I applied to have their supplementals already posted on the adea app that we filled out (UCLA, UCSF, NYU) so does that mean that we send the separate application fee right away or wait till they email us after submitting the adea app?

Nope. The ones that have questions already on the AADSAS say on their website that they don't require extra supplemental because the questions are already available on the AADSAS.

Same boat as you, not sure how one of my transcripts was received on June 8th, but the other two have not been received yet. All 3 were sent off on June 1st

Hmm, I would contact your school. I'm not from Indiana but my school told me that if it gets to two weeks and still hasn't been received then to contact them to go from there. They may have to resend it 🙁 Also if that does end up being the case, I was able to bring a label that I paid for to make sure that I had a tracking number when mine got sent, so you might be able to do that to be sure the second time around. Good luck!!

I talked to AADSAS and you don't need to worry (yet). I sent mine 06/02 and the school actually mailed them 06/05. I was a little worried so I called AADSAS but they told me to wait. They were received 06/13.
This is the timeline you should expect (it could be shorter if you're lucky but you could also be at the limit of the time frame):
5-7 business days after your transcript is mailed (call your school and find out the exact mailing date)
3-10 business days for AADSAS to process/receive your transcripts.

If you do the math, you should be okay until mid next week. At that point you could start to think of something to do.
I would call AADSAS if yuou're really worried but they won't be able to do much. It is quite rare that the transcript is lost if AADSAS actually receives it so I wouldn't worry.

That's awesome. Same here I'm waiting for the committee letter. My adviser was out for like the last 3 weeks so I hope he'll get the letter in in the next 2 weeks. ALso waiting on verification. And that should be it.

If they do it I suspect its gonna be 06/23. If they don't do it than it's all the same. It doesn't matter much as long as you apply until like mid/end july. you're early

You are correct. This is outdated information. There is no such thing as "batches" any longer. ADEA AADSAS used to mail out verified applications once a week in "batches". Now, applications are sent to dental schools electronically in real-time and they have access to them immediately.

Edit: To answer your earlier question regarding DAT scores: I went to the Check Status tab and downloaded my application PDF and I do see both Official and Unofficial DAT scores under the Standardized Tests section.

explains why a school already says received application/waiting for additional info. does that mean schools will start looking at my application as soon as it is complete in AADSAS and i sent the fee/supplemental app?

Yeah, different schools have different definitions of what is "complete" to them. Many schools only review once the supplemental app and fee are submitted. Once you submit that, they'll most likely begin reviewing your app depending on their schedule and how many apps they have ahead of yours.
